The viral train window reel
Toy Car to Real Car Video Generator
Upload one photo of your car. A tiny model of it rides a train window ledge at sunset, the tunnel goes dark, its tail lights come on, and your real car drives out onto the highway. 10 seconds, vertical, with the reel's sound.
1 car photo · 10 seconds · Vertical MP4 with sound
Your car
One car, whole body in view. A back-corner photo works best.
Use a photo of your own car or one you may use. Sharp, in daylight, the whole car in frame, ideally from a back corner so the tail lights show; no people and no other cars. JPG, PNG or WebP, 300–6000 pixels on each side, up to 30 MB.
10 seconds · 9:16 · 480p · With sound
This video costs 20 credits. Charged when you start, refunded automatically if it fails.
The $5 Trial pack (24 credits) covers one Seedance 2.0 Mini 480p video (20 credits), and the purchase makes your new videos watermark-free.

Three cars in the same scene: a model on a train window ledge, the tunnel, the tail lights, then the real car on the road. Play them with the sound on. Timing shifts a little between runs, and the yellow car reaches the road sooner.
What is the toy car to real car video?
Toy car to real car is the viral train window video: a tiny model car sits on a train's window ledge, the train enters a tunnel, its tail lights come on, and it drives out as the real car. This generator makes it for car owners from one photo. You get 10 seconds, 9:16, with sound. It costs from 20 credits; free accounts get a watermark.
People also call it the toy car to real car transition, the train window car video or the toy car tunnel transition. This page makes the October 2026 train version, not the older edit where someone sets a toy on the ground and cuts to a real car. You do not need a toy, a train or any editing.

What does a toy car to real car video look like?
Three cars in the same scene: a model on a train window ledge, the tunnel, the tail lights, then the real car on the road. Play them with the sound on. Timing shifts a little between runs, and the yellow car reaches the road sooner.
Results vary from run to run. The moment the ledge turns into the road is the hardest part, and small details such as wheel spokes can shift there.
How do I make the toy car to real car video from one photo of my car?
- 01
Pick one car photo
Choose a sharp daylight photo with the whole car in frame. A back-corner angle matches the video best. A phone photo is fine, and you do not need a toy version of your car.
- 02
Choose a model and generate
Seedance 2.0 Mini at 480p is the cheapest, and Seedance 2.5 is the newest model here. The button shows the exact price. A run usually takes a few minutes, and you can close the page; the video waits in Creations.
- 03
Save it and post it
Download the MP4. On iPhone, save it to Files and then to Photos. Post it to Reels, TikTok or Shorts and turn on the AI label.
No filming, prompt or CapCut template. Everything runs in a phone or desktop browser.
Which photo keeps my car recognisable?
The video shows your car from behind and to one side for all 10 seconds, so the photo decides how close it looks. The AI can only copy what it can see, and it guesses the rest.
| Your photo | What to expect | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Back corner, whole car, daylight | Closest match: tail lights, paint, wheels and roofline are all visible | Use this one |
| Side view, whole car | Good body and wheels; the tail lights are partly guessed | Fine if it is all you have |
| Front corner only | Body and paint carry over; the tail lights and rear bumper are invented | Take a new photo from behind if the rear matters |
| Night, reflections or heavy shadow | Paint and wheel colours can drift | Retake it in daylight |
| Car partly cut off, or people and other cars in frame | Body shape may change, or the wrong car may be picked | Crop to one whole car |
| A photo of a real die-cast model | It reads as a car, so it can work, but a real car photo gives more detail | Use it if the model is the car you want |
What happens in the 10 seconds?
The video follows one continuous phone shot from inside the train. Use this list to check your result.
| Time | On screen | Check |
|---|---|---|
| 0–1 s | Sunset through the window, hills sliding past, the model on the ledge | The model is your car, not a generic toy |
| 1–3 s | The tunnel goes dark and lights streak past the glass | The model stays parked with its lights off |
| 3–7 s | Tail lights switch on and glow red on the ledge | Wheels do not spin yet |
| 7–8.5 s | The window slides away, the ledge becomes the road, the model grows | Same paint and wheels at full size |
| 8.5–9.4 s | The real car drives toward a white tunnel exit | It drives nose first, never backwards |
| 9.4–10 s | The car comes out onto a night highway | Still your car, with no readable plate |
How much does one toy car to real car video cost, and can I make it for free?
Every video is 10 seconds; the price depends only on the model and resolution. These numbers come from the live generator, so they match the button.
| Model | 480p | 720p | 1080p |
|---|---|---|---|
| Seedance 2.0 Mini · 10 s | 20 credits (≈$0.55) | 43 credits (≈$1.19) | — |
| Seedance 2.0 Fast · 10 s | 43 credits (≈$1.19) | 93 credits (≈$2.58) | — |
| MiniMax H3 · 10 s | — | 104 credits (≈$2.88) | — |
| Seedance 2.0 Pro · 10 s | 73 credits (≈$2.02) | 155 credits (≈$4.30) | 390 credits (≈$10.81) |
| Seedance 2.5 · 10 s | 104 credits (≈$2.88) | 234 credits (≈$6.49) | 578 credits (≈$16.02) |
≈ dollars use the Studio monthly plan's credit value ($49.90 for 1,800 credits); one-time packs cost more per credit.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Free signup credits | New accounts get 5 credits, which is not enough for a video (the cheapest is 20). There is no fully free run. |
| Cheapest way to try one | The one-time $5 Trial pack (24 credits) makes one Seedance 2.0 Mini 480p video, with no subscription. |
| Best value for one good video | The $9.90 pack (180 credits) covers one Seedance 2.5 480p video (104 credits) or four Mini 720p videos. |
| Real cost with one retry | Budget two runs. Mini 480p is 40 credits; Seedance 2.5 at 720p is 468 credits. |
| Failed or refused videos | Credits come back automatically. A finished video you do not like counts as a run, so a new try costs credits again. |
| Watermark | Videos from accounts without a purchase carry a moving tryh3.com mark. After any completed purchase, including the Trial pack, new videos are clean. |
| Length and format | 10 seconds, vertical 9:16 MP4; 480p, 720p or 1080p depending on the model. |
Is there a toy car to real car filter on Instagram, TikTok or CapCut?
No. On 31 October 2026 we found no official toy car to real car effect in Instagram or TikTok. A camera filter could not do it anyway, because it would have to build a new 10-second scene from one photo. CapCut lists templates such as "Toy Car → Real Car", and TikTok tutorials point to newer train window templates, but those change often and you still edit inside the app. For the train window transition from a single photo, use a generator and post the finished MP4.
Which toy car to real car tool should I use?
Figures from each site's own page on 31 October 2026. A credit is worth a different amount on each site, so compare the dollar figures where they exist.
| Tool | Price per video | Free use | Watermark | Output |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TryH3 (this page) | From 20 credits (about $0.55); $5 Trial covers one | 5 credits, not enough for a video | Moving mark until any purchase | 10 s, 9:16, 480p to 1080p, reel sound |
| Smew AI | 152 credits; pack prices not shown on the template page | Not published | None, per its page | 10 s, 9:16, 720p, reel song |
| LetsMkVideo | 4 credits on its Generate button; credit price not published | Free credits for new accounts; amount not published | Not published | About 10 s, 9:16, 480p default, ambience only |
| AI Photo Animator | 300 credits, about $2.77 from a $4.99 starter pack | 75 credits, not enough for a video | None, per its page | 15 s, 480p, with sound |
Choose by what matters to you: the lowest first cost, the highest resolution, or a clean file from the first video. We have not run a side-by-side test of these tools.
Where did the train window car video start?
The train window version comes from a reel by Turkish editor @umutcancelikis, posted on Instagram on 19 October 2026. Toy-to-real edits were already common, but his clip moved the idea onto a moving train, in one continuous shot with no visible cut. That is why it looks too smooth to be filmed, and trend write-ups describe the change from model to full-size car as AI-generated. They also reported about 341,300 likes within a day.
| When | What happened |
|---|---|
| 31 May 2026 | @letsayhey posts a toy car transition to TikTok with the line "Your next opponent is you". It reaches about 4.7 million plays. |
| 19 Oct 2026 | @umutcancelikis posts the sunset train window reel on Instagram. |
| 20 Oct 2026 | The first TikTok copy appears, from @ajann00x. |
| Late Oct 2026 | One-photo generators and CapCut tutorials spread the trend to other cars. |

Toy car to real car transition: how is the train version different from the old edit?
Both are called a toy car to real car transition, which is why they get mixed up.
| Item | Older edit (May 2026) | Train window version (October 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Where the toy sits | On the ground or a table | On a moving train's window ledge |
| How it changes | A match cut between two filmed clips | One continuous shot, generated by AI |
| What you need | A toy, a real car, a tripod and an editor | One photo of your car |
| Best tool | CapCut | An AI generator |
Does the video have the original sound?
Yes. The MP4 keeps the sound of the viral reel, so the beat lands as the car leaves the tunnel. We could not confirm a track title for it, and many posts use other songs, so there is no single official sound. You can mute the clip and pick a sound inside Instagram or TikTok when you post. For paid ads or dealership posts, replace it with music you have licensed.
What can't the toy car to real car generator do?
- One vehicle per video. For a couple's two cars or a group of friends, make one video each and cut them together.
- No driver or people in the video: only the car appears.
- The scene and timing are fixed. You cannot change the train, the tunnel or the road, or make it longer than 10 seconds.
- Vertical 9:16 only.
- Motorbikes and very large trucks can look odd on the ledge; a sedan, hatchback, SUV, pickup or sports car suits it best.
- Exact wheels and trim are not guaranteed in every frame, and rear details are guessed when your photo does not show them.
- We ask the AI to leave plates blank and skip badge lettering, so do not expect readable text on the car.
Why did my car change colour or wheels, and how do I fix it?
Most bad results come from the photo or from the moment the model grows. Try these in order before you pay for a higher tier.
| Problem | What to try |
|---|---|
| The paint or wheels change after the tunnel | Use a sharp daylight photo with no strong reflections, then run it again on Seedance 2.5 or Pro. |
| A different car stays in the video | Crop the photo to one whole car and run it again; every run is a new take. |
| The car faces the wrong way or reverses | Use a back-corner photo. A front-only photo gives the AI less to work with. |
| The toy floats or jumps onto the road | This is the hardest moment. Run it again, or move up to Seedance 2.5. |
| The tail lights come on early, or wheels spin on the ledge | Timing varies between runs. Run it again rather than editing the clip. |
| The car turns blurry after the tunnel | Use 720p or 1080p. Upscaling afterwards sharpens the picture but cannot restore wheel detail. |
Can I make it in another AI video tool?
Yes, if the tool turns one image into a video. Timing and the moment the ledge becomes the road are harder to hit by hand, so expect several tries. Start from this prompt and add your own car photo.
Vertical 9:16 phone video, 10 seconds, one continuous handheld shot from inside a moving train at sunset. A tiny die-cast scale model of the car in the image stands on the window ledge, seen from behind and to one side. The train enters a dark tunnel. The model's tail lights switch on and glow red on the ledge. The window frame slides away, the ledge becomes the tunnel road, and the model grows into the same real car, which drives out through a bright exit onto a highway at night. Keep the paint, wheels and body shape identical in every frame. No people, no text, blank number plate.
How do I post the toy car to real car video on Reels, TikTok and Shorts?
The file is already vertical and short enough for all three, so post it as it is. Turn on the AI label on each app, because the car and the road are generated. A caption that says "AI" keeps people from thinking a dream car is yours. Use your own car, or ask the owner first. If you make ads, you are responsible for manufacturer logos and the music, and plain AI disclosure is the safe default.
Toy car to real car questions
Can I make the toy car to real car video for free?
Not completely. New accounts get 5 credits and the cheapest video costs 20, so a free account cannot finish one. The lowest one-time option is the $5 Trial pack, which covers one Seedance 2.0 Mini 480p video without a watermark and without a subscription.
Do I need a real toy car?
No. Upload a photo of your real car and the model on the ledge is generated from it. You do not need a toy, a train seat or any filming.
Will it work with a motorcycle or pickup truck?
A pickup fits the scene better than a motorcycle. A motorcycle can upload, but it can look odd on the ledge and at full size, because the scene was built around a car. Results vary, so start with Mini 480p.
Can two cars appear in one video?
Not in one shot. Each video has one vehicle. For two matching cars, make a video for each and join them in CapCut or another editor.
Can I use a dream car or an AI-made car?
Yes. Any clear image of one vehicle works, including a car you designed in an image generator. If you do not own the car, say so in the caption so people get the joke.
If the car comes out wrong, can I regenerate it without paying again?
If a run fails or is refused, the credits come back automatically. A finished video that looks wrong is a completed run, so a new try costs credits. A better photo usually helps more than a higher tier.
Is it safe to upload a photo that shows my number plate?
You can crop or blur the plate before uploading, and do the same for a house number or a neighbour's home. We ask the AI to leave plates blank, though one can slip through. Your photo is stored with your project and sent to the video model to make the clip.
Can a car dealership make 30 of these?
Yes, one at a time. Thirty Seedance 2.0 Mini 720p videos use 1,290 credits, which fits inside one Studio month of 1,800 credits for $49.90. There is no batch upload yet, and you handle logos, music and AI disclosure in any ads.
